7 July is New 7 Wonders Day around the world and today, Table Mountain, our African wonder of nature, joins its international counterparts by participating in the 7 Symbols of Peace campaign.

The following statement has been issued by the New 7 Wonders Foundation:

At the iconic site of the Friedensengel in Munich, Germany, the "Peace Angel" statue honouring peace after war, Bernard Weber, Founder of New7Wonders and Initiator of the 7 Symbols of Peace campaign, celebrates the official world 7 Wonders Day, 7 July 2019.

Inviting everyone to participate in choosing and supporting peace symbols, Bernard Weber said "Peace does not come from talks, but from action. With this campaign, we all unite by nominating and voting for our 7 Symbols of Peace. The more we do together, the less time we have to fight each other."
