Online tickets are valid for 14 days from the selected day of your visit. Should you be unable to use your online tickets within this 14-day period, the Cableway will refund your unused tickets (less a R10 administration fee per ticket refunded).

Kidz Season
Two kids under 18 years old ride for free with an adult when an adult return ticket is purchased from the ticket office at the Lower Cable Station. Summer Sunset special

Celebrate your birthday on the top of Table Mountain, taking the cable car up and back free of charge courtesy of Table Mountain Cableway. Remember to take your South African Identity Document with you on the day and present it at the ticket office before departure. Valid for adult (18 years+) return trips only.
Should your birthday fall within the Cableway’s annual maintenance period (23 July – 5 August), you have the option of either taking up the Cableway birthday offer one week prior or one week after the annual maintenance period.
Should the Cableway be closed due to adverse weather conditions on the day of your birthday, you will still have to collect your ticket on that day. This Birthday Special ticket issued on a closed day is valid for 7 days from the date of your birthday.
