Table Mountain Café

The Table Mountain Café offers a trendy menu that caters for the changing demands of the Cableway’s visitors. Menu items include a breakfast buffet, pizzas, gourmet burgers, and mountaineer selection that showcases traditional South African cuisine. A selection of pre-packed light meals are available from the gourmet deli. Meals may be complemented with a selection of fine wines. A wide variety of pastries, speciality teas and coffees are also on offer from the coffee bar.

Cheese platter and your choice of a glass of La Capra Pinotage/Sauvignon Blanc or Fairview Rosè.

Grilled burger with your choice of cheese or mushroom sauce, served with oven baked potato chips.

Breakfast is served daily until 11h30.

The Breakfast Buffet includes mushrooms, breakfast mince, flame grilled boerewors, french toast, Spanish omlettes, grilled tomato, toast and baked beans.

Prices range from R48.00 for a Round plate to R58.00 for an Oval plate.

Sustainability

The Cableway is committed to conserving sustainable resources and reducing man’s footprint on the environment. To conserve water the Cableway has introduced compostable plates and containers for food instead of regular, washable plates. 100% compostable, these containers are made from organic material that turns into water, carbon dioxide and compost.

Halaal Friendly

Exciting news is that the Table Mountain Café is also Halaal Friendly. Meat is supplied by a halaal butchery. No pork products are used and the sauces served in the Café do not contain any alcohol.

Coffee Bar

Hot beverages on offer include filter coffee, cappucino, cafe latte, macchiato, tea and hot chocolate.

Hot beverages can be complemented by chocolate brownies, shortbread, rusks, crunchies and home-made biscuits.

Cakes available include carrot, lemon meringue and cheesecake.
