The Cableway offers you the opportunity to buy tickets online and skip the Ticket Office queue.
Buying tickets online means that you will avoid the ticket office queues when you arrive at the Cableway.
Please note that you cannot book tickets for a particular time, but instead buy tickets that you can use whenever suits you best.
Table Mountain Cableway Gift Vouchers are now available! Buy your Table Mountain Gift Voucher online at values of R50, R100 or R200.
You can use the vouchers at selected locations at the Lower and Upper Cable Stations, including the ice cream kiosk, Visitor Centre, Table Mountain kiosk and Exit Shop, Table Mountain Café, refreshment bar, terrace bar, Shop at the Top and Little Shop at the Top.
Please note: Table Mountain Gift Vouchers- Are valid for a period of three years from the date of purchase.
- Tickets cannot be redeemed at the Happy Snappy Photo Booth, Ticket Office and Portable Vending Carts.

- You can purchase and print your online ticket from any computer.
- Online tickets are valid for 14 days from selected date of use.
- Within the 14-day period the online ticket can be refunded (less the R10 administration fee per ticket).
- Buy your online tickets from the Cableway ticket office when the Cableway is closed.
- You can also buy online tickets at all Cape Town Tourism visitor information centres.
- Please note that tickets for promotional offers can only be purchased from the Cableway’s ticket office.
- No cash refunds are given on online tickets. Refunds are via the credit card that was used in the original transaction.
- Online tickets are valid for 14 days from the chosen date, and can be refunded (less a R10 administration fee per ticket) during this period.
- Refunds can take up to 7 working days (depending on the bank) to be processed.
