Were you the daredevil who scared us half to death?
The paraglider who swooped over Table Mountain late last year.
More than four months on, we’re still looking for the culprit who almost stopped our hearts on top of Table Mountain!
On November 5th, last year, Table Mountain Aerial Cableway held a sunset special function for their top suppliers, at the Table Mountain Café on the summit.
Just before the sun sank below the horizon, we were joined by a shadow hovering above us.
The shadow belonged to a paraglider, who looked as if he was there as part of the entertainment.
He came in so low and so close to the rooftop of the Curio shop that I got seriously sweaty palms just watching.
We were all just waiting for the collision with the chimney!
The good news is that he did just glide off into the sunset, so no harm done.
The bad news; we still don’t know who he is… do you?
