The world’s New7Wonders to be unveiled on 11/11/11
Director of the New7Wonders of Nature Foundation, Jean-Paul de la Fuente, has announced that a date has been chosen for the official declaration of the contest’s winners in 2011.
The important general announcement was made at a press conference in Warsaw, Poland yesterday, February 22, 2010.
The host location of the announcement has not yet been chosen, and is still being considered – with a select group of cities and countries from around the world bidding for the honour. The location will be announced in due course, once the host has been chosen.
But in the meantime, the date of this special announcement has been decided:
Friday 11 November 2011, or 11/11/11.
On that day the official New7Wonders of Nature will be unveiled, with over 1 billion votes cast!
