Table Mountain Aerial Cableway Company Limited gets an online revamp!
Table Mountain Aerial Cableway Company Limited is proud to announce its website’s fresh new look, with added content and features, quick tips and 50 fun Did You Knows?
On the overhauled website, you will find:
- Information about whether the cableway is open, the first and last trips of the day, the weather on top, and even when the sun will rise and set.
- A brand new blog, with write-ups on a range of topics including the Cableway’s history, as well as photo essays and photos from our Flickr feed. We already have more than 100 members in our new Flickr group, and would love you to join and add your favourite photos of Table Mountain, if you haven’t already.
- A comprehensive list of activities, what to see and frequently asked questions.
- Links to our new Facebook group, Twitter feed and Flickr group.
- Details of what’s on offer in our Shop at the Top.
- A new section on environmental responsibility, and what we’re doing to minimise our impact on Table Mountain.
- Mouth-watering information on the fare at the Table Mountain Café and how you can book one of our function venues.
- A new media section, offering contact details, high-res images, suggested story angles and even an application to organise a film shoot on the mountain.
A couple of the programming “wows” are the fact that the site’s colours and header images change four times a day: at sunrise, during the daytime, at sunset and at night time, to showcase the changing moods of Table Mountain.
We’ve also introduced a feature where visitors can email or mms their picture taken of or on Table Mountain to the site, and we’ll showcase them on our front page.
Please take a look at the site and explore all these features – they were designed with you in mind!
We’d also love to hear your views on the new site – please drop us a line on our online feedback form. Or perhaps you’d like to guest blog for us about an experience or memory relating to Table Mountain? If so, please email us at info@tablemountain.net.
