New ticket prices – save online!
Tomorrow, October 1, Table Mountain Cableway’s annual rate adjustment will kick in. There’s lots of good news, though, not least of which the fact that you can save time and money if you buy your ticket online. From tomorrow, buying your tickets online is cheaper than buying them from the ticket office.
Table Mountain Cableway has decided not to increase its online rates over the next year, so you’ll still pay R170 (adult) or R80 (children under 18) for a return ticket.
Ready for more good news? One-way tickets can now also be bought online! This is great news for hikers as it reduces the need to carry cash while walking up the mountain. Purchase your online ticket beforehand and simply redeem once you’re ready to go back down. A one-way online ticket for adults will cost R90, and R40 for children under 18.
Our ticket office rates are increasing ever so slightly. A return adult ticket will cost R180 and a one-way ticket will cost R95. Children under 18 will pay R90 for a return and R45 for a one-way ticket.
Our special Fridays-only rates for South African senior citizens and students are also increasing slightly. Senior citizens will now pay R90 (return) or R45 (one-way) and students that produce a valid student card will pay R144 (return) and R76 (one-way).
SANParks WILD Card holders pay R144 (adult return) and R76 (adult one-way) or R72 (child return) and R36 (child one-way).
Please note that the special Fridays-only rates and WILD Card special rates cannot be bought online. You must buy them from the ticket offices at either the Upper or Lower Cable Station.
Here’s to a long, hot summer and sizzling savings.
