Free Cableway rides during Kidz Season
If you’re looking for ways to entertain your children during the Spring school holidays, or for a memorable and affordable family outing, then Table Mountain Cableway’s Kidz Season special will appeal to you.
The Cableway’s Kidz Season special allows two children under 18 years to ride for free on weekends, public holidays and during the school holidays when an adult return ticket is purchased. The adult return ticket costs R195.
Children can also participate in a school holiday programme that runs daily between 10am and 12pm from Saturday October 1 until Sunday October 9.
Families will be spoilt for choice with nature walks, magic shows, treasure hunts, puppet stories, games and impromptu competitions on the go. Children will also be entertained by a variety of characters that will roam around the top of Table Mountain.
Once you’ve enjoyed your cable car ride to 1 067 meters above sea level, start searching for these magical characters and let the fun begin.
The Table Mountain Café also offers a Kidz Season Café Special: a pizza slice and a hot chocolate at R26.50 (for under 18 year olds). And if you’d like a memento from a wonderful outing you can visit The Shop at the Top for gifts and souvenirs.
