A photograph taken by British comedian, Eddie Izzard, from the top of Table Mountain has been getting a lot of attention on micro-blogging site Twitter. Izzard was in South Africa earlier this month, for a series of sell-out shows in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town. He took some time off during his visit to the Mother City to summit the iconic attraction, stopping to grab a photo or two while on top of the mountain.

Izzard’s first visit to South Africa clearly left an impression on him, and he wasn’t shy about expressing his views on Twitter: “Just leaving Cape Town. It’s beautiful here in South Africa. Do come over for the [2010 FIFA] World Cup. I think it will be fantastic.”
