A Cable Card gives you daily access to the cable car
Enjoying some of the best views in the world does not have to cost you the Earth.
The Cableway’s Cable Card makes it easy for you and your family to enjoy nature all year around, at a fraction of the regular cost.
Even though our popular Sunset Special has ended for the season, it does not mean the end of cut-price specials. The Cableway is open throughout the year, weather permitting, and you can use the Cable Card anytime.
Being on top of Table Mountain, one of the New7Wonders of Nature, is an opportunity to get up close with nature, breathe fresh mountain air and take walks, either on your own or on a free guided tour.
Imagine being able to take the cable car up Table Mountain every day, for an entire year, and only paying R510 for an adult, R255 for a child and R605 for an adult-and-child combo. No matter how many times you go up Table Mountain, there will always be something new to see. Thousands of flowers and animals have made the summit their home.
Table Mountain is also part of the Cape Floristic Kingdom and to experience it, you could join one of the two daily guided walks at 10h00 and noon every day. These depart from the meeting point just outside the Upper Cable Station.
When you buy a Cable Card you can use the cable car once a day, for an entire year. Considering that a return ticket costs R205 for an adult and R100 for a child, the saving is astronomical. And if you are a holder of the SANParks Wild Card it becomes even more cost-effective: Adults pay R408, children’s cards are R204 and the adult-and-child combo works out to R484.
The rates are valid until September 30, 2013. When you’ve purchased your Cable Card, at the Visitor Centre at the Lower Cable Station, or online, you will skip the ticket office queue, be invited to exclusive functions and events, and receive our quarterly e-newsletter. The Cable Card is good value for money, according to 95% of our existing users, and 93% of them say they would recommend that their friends buy it as well.
