Refunds for visitors affected by Sunday night’s mechanical fault

To those who were delayed coming down Table Mountain last night because of a technical problem, the Table Mountain Cableway would like to say thank you for your patience. A mechanical fault at the Upper Cable Station necessitated us taking people off the mountain at reduced speed, which meant it took 20 minutes per trip to bring people down, rather than the usual five minutes. This resulted in your long wait at the Upper Cable Station and delay back to the Lower Cable Station.
